Wood arrives for floor. Smell of cedar.
The new pony-club style fence.
computer stuff. reasonably out of the way.
The firewood people delivered the wood while I was at the animal hospital...I hadn't expected it to be quite as far up the lane....
Japanese oak. Very slow burning. It seems a shame that it is turned into firewood, but there is probably some reason it can't be used for anything else. It is very slow burning. I hadn't realized that everybody didn't have to check their wood fire every fifteen minutes.....
X the kitten was waiting across the road from the Meat Shop. I gave him some of the mince I had bought for dinner and he swallowed it down like water. He had been attacked by crows who punctured his trachea, and his skin had filled up with air. So he was actually only half the size and half the age I had thought he was, and it was very lucky that he was still hungry. X will come home from the Hospital on Wednesday. X has two little black dots on his nose. He looks like a little pig. I think X will have to live here.
